NutraBlast Core Values

The solid foundation of NutraBlast is guided by strong core values. It is in our DNA. Our values serve as a blueprint for our actions and guide the way we work with our business partners, within the communities we work in, and with each other.

Organic

A commitment to organically grown goods

At NutraBlast, one of our key principles is: “If it’s bad for your health, it’s bad for business.” Nature has provided the foundation and we use organic farming practices to cultivate our land and to ensure that the quality of our farmland is maintained for years to come.

There are key areas that we focus on as part of this commitment:

Growing Crops Naturally: We believe in growing crops and livestock naturally — free from the use of synthetic pesticides, bioengineered genes, and petroleum-based fertilizers. We keep our soil healthy by using all-natural fertilizers such as manure or compost and organic materials instead of synthetic fertilizers. Because biological fertilizers release nutrients slowly, they increase the capacity of the soil to retain moisture and reduce nitrates leaking into groundwater.

We feed our livestock with all organic, hormone- and GMO-free feed. We believe that by feeding them grains, meals like soybean meal and cottonseed meal, silage, hay, fodder, and pasture exposes our livestock with nutritional values beneficial to humans, too.

We use organic seeds and planting stocks to protect the integrity of our crops. When organic varieties are not available, we use conventionally grown seeds that have not been genetically modified or treated with prohibited chemical substances.

Organic Pest Control: We know how to properly take care of pest challenges. We have in-depth knowledge on the life cycles of the common pests we face for our crops, which helps us to sensibly take care of these challenges.

We have introduced several recognized measures to reduce pest presence: floating row covers and biopesticides and variety selection.

We either utilize predatory insects to reduce pest populations or introduce beneficial insects such as ladybugs and soldier beetles that eat harmful insects to stop growth and propagation.

We follow a smart crop rotation strategy to help replenish the soil with nutrients, build organic matter, prevent soil erosion, and increase farm biodiversity. We rotate crop species to prevent pests from getting used to the type of plant that is being cultivated.

After harvest, our farmers follow one crop family with another from a different crop family. Then we wait for a few years before replanting the initial crop.

Economical Irrigation: We believe in responsible and conservative water use. We believe that proper irrigation in our farms supply our crops and other plants with the necessary water to grow optimally while we maintain a profitable farmland.

We find ways to conserve water and energy usage by using renewable resources such as wastewater and solar-powered irrigation systems.

Quality Compliance: We take careful consideration of the impact our organic farming practices have on the greater environment and conservation of wildlife and natural habitats. With that in mind, we follow strict guidelines to grow our crops, keeping detailed records of our family’s farming practices and having certifying agencies monitor these practices regularly.

We believe that maintaining good records of irrigation, soil adjustments, application methods, and crop response will provide a history to which crop management strategy can be fine-tuned to produce optimum yields while maintaining soil and water integrity.

We believe that seeking regular quality checks assures that our products are kept chemical-free and laden with essential nutrients to help reduce public health risks.

Sustainability

A commitment to sustainability and acting in an environmentally responsible way

For us at NutraBlast, “sustainably sourced” means producing goods resulting from ecological farming practices that are economically viable and environmentally sound and protect public health. We believe in delivering quality and healthy produce without compromising the ability of future generations to do the same.

Here are the key areas we are focusing on as part of this commitment:

Natural Ingredient Procurement: We embed sustainability into our ingredient-procurement decision-making process, which includes several all-natural methods and principles to care for our farmland.

We use renewable sources as alternate sources of energy to reduce the consumption of diesel and other types of fuel that are harmful to the environment. Alternative energy opportunities are often more cost-effective when the amount of energy needed is consistent throughout the year.

We practice crop rotation and embrace crop diversity to help maintain healthier soil and improve pest control in our farmland. During off seasons, we plant cover crops instead of leaving the land bare. We believe in optimally utilizing available farm space to build up soil health, prevent soil erosion, replenish soil nutrients, keep weeds in check, and maximize our future economic capability.

Protection of Public Health: We keep our waste within our farm’s ecosystem to prevent causing water or soil pollution. We properly and carefully manage our waste products to protect humans from exposure to pathogens, toxins, and other hazardous pollutants.

We reduce dirty water around the farm and manage our water margins. We maintain a suitable distance between a watercourse and drinking water supplies, especially when handling fertilizers or organic wastes.

We regulate the areas of the farmland where our animals can excrete and where our equipment pass through.

We do not burn fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and gas to prevent air pollution. We regularly service our engines to reduce fuel consumption and avoid making unnecessary journeys to reduce CO2 emissions.

We use biofertilizers to prevent polluting the ground. We also use biopesticides and fungicides to avoid soil pollution. We believe that even if these products take a bit more time to react, they do not have adverse effects on the soil.

We use livestock slurries and manure and other organic wasters to improve soil fertility and save on fertilizer costs. We ensure that we use these products carefully to prevent polluting the soil if they were spread at the wrong place or at the wrong time.

We reuse and recycle. We make sure that our waste is disposed of properly.

Giving Back: We yield products that are safer for consumers, workers, and the surrounding communities. We embrace the opportunity to give back to the places and communities where we live, work, and serve.

In our family-owned business, we make it a point to remain economically viable by ensuring that our farmers, farm workers, and product processors are provided with adequate wage and benefits. We guarantee that our farm workers work in humane, fair, and safe working conditions.

We collaborate with local and community suppliers to strengthen our bonds with surrounding communities and reduce reliance on government subsidies and support.

Quality

A commitment to superior quality products

We take pride in conscientiously and consistently delivering superior quality products to our consumers. This, in turn, helps to win and build their trust in us and our products and encourage loyalty to our brand.

We look at the following key areas as part of fulfilling this commitment:

Quality Consciousness: We are proud of our quality control program and we work to observe and comply with its protocols. By doing this, we are methodically guaranteeing the safety of all our products for our consumers.

We follow a stringent quality control procedure to ensure that all our crop seeds, farm equipment, and practices are always up to certification standards. We coordinate with certifying agents to help us plan for certification, evaluate our products, and provide the license. We keep ourselves updated with any regulation changes to ensure that our practices follow what is currently required.

We conduct quality evaluations and performance tests after critical stages of production to confirm that our products are free from any contamination. Regular inspections assess our current farming practices and provide areas that need improvement. Once addressed, this inevitably enables us to assure the quality and safety of our products to our consumers.

Accurate Historical Records: To ensure the quality of our products, we keep detailed records that track the farm’s performance and identify improvement opportunities. We keep track of the type and count of crop varieties and livestock we have. We monitor the materials we have used on the farm such as soil amendments, applied pest management controls, and fertilizers.

We take note of our financial and quality performance vis-à-vis our business quality and financial goals. Our target is to maintain our profitability without sacrificing the quality of our goods.

Productive Partnerships: The NutraBlast farm contains nutrient-rich soil. It is here, in a family-owned, organic farmland that we grow strong, vital crops for use in our supplements. We work hand in hand with our farmers to ensure organic produce methods are successfully implemented.

We believe that ensuring quality product starts at the source: the farms. We believe that producing high-quality products will lead to satisfied consumers and repeated purchases.

Scientifically Proven: We believe that we should deliver what we have advertised to our consumers. We adhere to a stringent quality control protocol to make sure that our label claims are met, starting from production and throughout the life of the product. By partnering with chemists and microbiologists, we perform multiple levels of examinations to ensure that we meet or even exceed our label claims.

Our partner chemists have the vast testing capability that allows them to verify the character, purity, and potency of our products and the raw materials we used as well.

We conduct continuous research to find organic ingredients alternatives. We ensure the quality of goods by using fully validated data analysis as the basis for our product recommendations.
